Hughsonville Fire Department Receives Dutchess County Grant
HFD Social Media Team , August 30
Chief of Department Paul Rogers and the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Hughsonville Fire District are pleased to announce our organization has been awarded $90,000 through the 2023 Dutchess County Municipal Investment Grant Program (MIG). The Hughsonville Fire District will use the awarded monetary grant to outfit approximately twenty firefighters with new Personal Protective Gear (PPE).

Serious Crash Requires Extrication of Driver
HFD Social Media Team, July 21
On Monday, July 17 at 12:35pm, the HFD was dispatched to a serious motor vehicle accident in the area of 59 New Hamburg Road. The HFD responded with Heavy Rescue 45-55, Engine-Tanker 45-31, and Utility 45-62. Responding units were advised by Dutchess County 911 that the driver was possibly unresponsive, and a utility pole was snapped with low hanging wires. Upon arrival, members determined that the ... Hughsonville FD Responds M/A to New Hamburg Fire District

At 1:58pm on May 25th, Hughsonville Fire Department was dispatched with 45-11(Engine) for a Second Alarm Structure Fire on Susan Lane, within the New Hamburg Fire District. Hughsonville Firefighters Extinguish Multi-Vehicle Fire

On Monday evening at 6:56pm, Hughsonville FD and New York State Police were dispatched for a reported vehicle fire in the parking lot of 1488 Route 9. Chief of Department Paul Rogers arrived on scene within 3 minutes of the initial dispatch to find two vehicles on fire with an exposure of another vehicle.

Sneak Peak of Hughsonville's New Engine(45-11)

Over the past two days members of the Apparatus Replacement Committee took a trip for our final inspection of our new 45-11(Engine). Final Inspection took place at the Pierce Manufacturing Center in Appleton Wisconsin. Our new engine will be a 2022 Pierce Enforcer Engine. This project began in 2020 to replace our 2003 Pierce Enforcer Engine.
