Yesterday, at approximately 9:06am, Hughsonville Fire Department was dispatched for a reported vehicle fire endangering a structure. 1st Assistant Chief Paul Rogers arrived on scene and advised the responding Engine(45-11) that there was one pickup truck on fire. On Saturday, August 6, 2022, the HFD, Town of Wappinger EMS and New York State Police were dispatched for a two car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 9 & Old Hopewell Road. Hughsonville FD receives County Grant

Chief of Department Justin Jerrick and the Board of Fire Commissioners are pleased to announce that the Hughsonville Fire Department has been awarded $265,584.00 by the Dutchess County Municipal Investment Grant Program.

Yesterday at 5:13pm, Hughsonville FD and Town of Wappingers Ambulance were dispatched to New Hamburg Road and Creek Road for a rollover motor vehicle accident. On Sunday night at 11:23pm, the HFD and Town of Wappinger EMS were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9, in the area of the entrance to BJ’s Wholesale Club. Hughsonville FD Responds to Structure Fire

On Saturday, May 21st, the HFD and Town of Wappinger EMS were dispatched to Osborne Hill Road near Fleetwood Drive for a reported motorcycle accident. Chief 45-1 and Town of Wappinger EMS arrived on scene within 5 minutes and, due to the seriousness of injuries, a medevac helicopter was requested.
