Mission Statement
of the
Hughsonville Fire District
Board of Fire Commissioners
The Board of Fire Commissioners is dedicated to providing the most complete aand comprehensive level of fire and life protection possible to the residents of the Fire District. By working within New York State and federal regulations and guidelines, the Board of Fire Commissioners will strive to maintain the fire department in the highest level of preparedness and capability. The Board of Fire Commissioners will do its utmost to provide the members of the fire department with the most OSHA-approved personal protective equipment and tools in order to perform their critical skills with all possible safety and expediency. While recognizing that the primary consideration for every expenditure is the welfare of every resident and guest of the community, and the safety and well being of every member of the fire department, the Board of Fire Commissioners will ensure that due diligence is exercised in all expenditures of taxpayer monies.
