On Thursday, January 1, 2026, during the Hughsonville Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners Re-Organizational Meeting, Justin Jerrick was officially sworn in as Chief of Department of the Hughsonville Fire District. This marks his second term as Fire Chief, having previously served from 2020–2022.

Also sworn in were Nicholas Ward as First Assistant Chief and William Beale as Deputy Chief.

Additionally, Fire Commissioner Anthony Martino was sworn into a five-year term serving from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2030.

The Board of Fire Commissioners approved the Chief’s appointments to the following positions:
• Safety Officer: John King
• Training Officer: Christopher Sample
• EMS Lieutenant: Thomas Gallman Sr.
