Chief of Department Justin Jerrick and the Board of Fire Commissioners are pleased to announce that the Hughsonville Fire Department has been awarded $265,584.00 by the Dutchess County Municipal Investment Grant Program.

The Hughsonville Fire Department will utilize the awarded funds for three separate projects. The first project is to upgrade the fire stations exhaust mitigation system. The second project is to purchase updated self-contained breathing apparatuses (SCBA) for firefighters. The third and final project is to install two emergency generators for the main and annex buildings to assist us in emergency situations.

The Hughsonville Fire Department would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro and the Dutchess County Legislature for this opportunity to better serve our community and firefighters.
