Over the past two days members of the Apparatus Replacement Committee took a trip for our final inspection of our new 45-11(Engine). Final Inspection took place at the Pierce Manufacturing Center in Appleton Wisconsin. Our new engine will be a 2022 Pierce Enforcer Engine. This project began in 2020 to replace our 2003 Pierce Enforcer Engine.

Below are some notable specifications for our 2022 Pierce Enforcer.
- 84" (6) Firefighter Cab
- 1,000 Gallon Water Tank
- 2,000 GPM Pump
- 1,500 of 5" Supply Hose
- 3 Pre-connected Cross-lays
- Light Tower
- Generator
- Foam System

The replacement committee consisted of the following members below that researched multiple manufacturers and created detailed specifications to meet our department and districts needs.

The next steps in the process will be delivery to New York's Firematic Facility in Patterson. Firematic will then complete tool mounting before it is delivered to the Hughsonville Fire Department. Once delivered the Officers and Members will complete an apparatus qualification training on the new 45-11 before it’s placed in-service.
